Moving Parts Hazard

Moving parts, such as the pump rod, ram follower plate, pump inlet and ram assembly, can pinch or amputate your fingers.

• Do not operate the equipment if guard or other protective devices are removed.
• Keep clear of all moving parts when starting or operating the equipment.
• Keep hands and fingers away from the priming piston during operation and whenever the pump is charged with air.
• Keep your hands away from the follower plate, pump fluid inlet, and the lip of the drum while the ram is operating.
• Keep your hands away from the ram frame while the ram is operating
• Before servicing the equipment, follow the Pressure Relief Procedure in the operation manual to prevent the equipment from stating unexpectedly.
