The Senator 4:1 sanitary pump is constructed of 316 stainless steel, with a 2 in (50.8 mm) sanitary tube flange outlet and can be fitted into open-head drums or directly inserted into a 4.5 in (114 mm) closed-head drum bung. It is an on-demand pump; by closing the outlet or dispense valve, the pump will stop until flow is again required.

This USDA-approved pump can be taken apart in less than 5 minutes for those applications that require daily sanitation, and can empty a drum in less than 3 minutes when pumping somewhat flowable to moderately flowable fluids.
