Since 1982, Franceligne is working for local authorities and for road builders in Ile de France, the region around Paris. It marks roads and parking zones with painted and thermoplastic stripes and designs. To perform their tasks, the employees of Franceligne use Graco equipment.
The late Gérard Viennet, who founded the company in 1982, decided to purchase Graco’s new ThermoLazer. “Graco tools aren’t unfamiliar to us,” says Gérard’s daughter Stéphanie, who succeeded him at the head of the company. “We have already used the LineLazer Airless for a long time and we also act as a distributor of Graco tools.”
Excellent for new and smooth roads
Franceligne uses both types of machines for practical reasons. “The ThermoLazer is an excellent solution for new and very smooth roads. Thermoplastic stripings have a longer average life expectancy than painted stripes. But on older, deformed or damaged roads it is much easier to use classical painting solutions. We use our own Graco equipment for that and we also advise our customers to do so.”
“The ThermoLazer offers some nice advantages. It is very easy to handle and changing the cups goes very smoothly.”

Some nice advantages
The ThermoLazer isn’t the first thermoplastic unit Franceligne ever used. “In the past, we used other equipment. But I am pleased that the ThermoLazer offers some nice advantages. It is very easy to handle and changing the cups goes very smoothly.”
