FEICA (Fédération Européenne des Industries de Colles et Adhésifs), the Association of European Adhesive and Sealant Industry and its national trade associations, represent and defend the interests of this very innovative industry. FEICA was founded in Rome in 1972, with a Belgian President and a secretariat provided by the German adhesive association with offices in Düsseldorf. From the beginning, FEICA has sought to represent manufacturers across all of Europe. The Association has continued to evolve, thanks to the contribution of its national associations, direct company members and affiliate company members. Located in Brussels since January 2007, FEICA seeks to develop communication with stakeholders, strengthen the network between its members, reinforce its role as an authoritative and trusted voice for the industry within the European Community, and promote the welfare of its members within the framework of European law, by informing them about legislative developments affecting the industry. The Polyurea Development Association Europe (PDA Europe) is the official trade association for the European Polyurea industry. Registered as an official, international non-profit association under Belgian law, PDA Europe promotes the highest possible standards for polyurea. Leading experts from across Europe's chemical industry make up the membership base of PDA Europe providing expert advice on product quality. The association also offers best practice information on areas of environmental consideration and safety and provides an established networking forum for key industry players to discuss the future of the polyurea market. The ANPE (Associazione Nazionale Poliuretano Espanso rigido), the National Association of Rigid Polyurethane Foam, was founded to promote the qualitative development of rigid polyurethane foam products, to participate in standardising Italian and European technical activities, to represent the Italian industries in the sector on the national and European scene, also collaborating actively with the European association of rigid polyurethane foam manufacturers (PU EUROPE). ANPE also collects and supplies information of a technical character concerning the application of the products represented within the association, promoting the publication of the review Poliuretano, sent free of charge to designers, technical offices, thermo-technical offices, fitters, building companies and dealers.
