By moving the mixing point closer to the gun, Graco’s ProMix PD decreases the flush zone, which means less material waste, faster flushing and increased efficiency. Full flushing can be programmed in the ADM, with the option to preset up to five different flushing recipes with individual solvents, time schedules and other factors.

Automatic Configuration

Integrated air control box for maximum efficiency

If you opt for an integrated automatic setup, the integrated Air Control Module provides electrical and air connections to enable the ProMix PD system to operate two spray devices, as well as one or two gun flush boxes or one or two air shutoff valves.

Positive displacement technology gives the unique ability to deliver a constant fluid flow rate and pressure, regardless of fluid properties. This feature allows the pump to stall under pressure. Constant pressure is guaranteed by preset values, which prevents misadjusting by operators and eliminates the need for regulators in the mixed material fluid stream. Additionally, the constant pressure level allows for a fast response to changing conditions.

Dose pumps for incomparable accuracy

The ProMix PD can operate up to four different pumps, dispense different materials and manage multiple applicators on the same system. Because dose pumps are not sensitive to wear, they are an excellent way to avoid material slippage, ensuring an incomparable mixing ratio accuracy within 1 percent. As seals can be replaced in the field in minutes, the pump's maintenance cost is very low compared to other technologies.

Remote mixing thanks to hose bundle

The hose bundle conveniently combines multiple-coloured hoses – for solvents, catalysts, colours and air – in a single hose connected to the booth. This means the mixing point can be moved much closer to the spray gun.

Efficient flushing with the air/solvent chop 

Air/solvent chop allows for customisable flushing recipes that use air and solvent chop (short bursts of air or solvent to flush the system) through the pump. This reduces solvent usage during flushing and reduces the time required to fully flush the pump.

Manual configuration

Manual painting with Graco ProMix PD is as efficient as you can get without going automatic. This technology allows you to limit material waste, control pressure and experience less operator error. It’s your familiar spray gun setup, but monitored by an efficient and highly accurate system.

Add extra colours with the colour change module (optional) 

The ProMix PD system can manage up to 30 colours and four catalysts thanks to the optional colour change module and its corresponding valve stacks.

Make the operator’s life easy thanks to easy-to-navigate screens that guide users through operation, setup and troubleshooting. Our system provides real-time data on system parameters to help you avoid any costly errors. You can access all the data through a PLC or download it using the USB port to optimise processes or make improvements.

Save time and material with the remote mix manifolds

The ProMix PD system is compatible with Wall Mix manifolds for automatic colour switch or Belt Mix manifolds for manual colour switch, carried in hand or mounted to a robot. This reduces not only colour change time, but also flushing, material waste and downtime. Faster colour change means increased throughput and productivity. The ability to load multiple guns on one system means that colour change time can be eliminated.

Single or dual mix: adapt the system to your needs

The PD Dual Mix unit does the job of two systems for maximum production flexibility. Control two guns in one booth at the same time or control two painters in two separate booths with the option to use one or both mix units depending on production needs or maintenance schedules.
