Electric options are up to 80% more efficient than AODD pumps and also save on maintenance costs.
Patent Pending Air Charged Drive
Increase diaphragm life without compromising your fluid - no hydraulic charge, so no risk of contamination.
Less noise disturbance through less than 70 dBa compared to an air operated diaphragm pump.
SaniForce 2.0 Electric Operated Double Diaphragm Pumps SaniForce unique Electric Operated Double Diaphragm pumps
Graco’s SaniForce unique Electric Operated Double Diaphragm pumps combine the advantages of an Air Operated Double Diaphragm Pump like self-priming, stalling under pressure, and increased diaphragm life with the efficiency of an electric drive.
Advantages of the electric operated diaphragm pump
Durable Pump Technology
Handles the most difficult materials without damaging the pump on the one hand, but is also gentle on shear sensitive material on the other hand.
Electric models offer worry free pump design without rotateable seal prevents leaking and need for flushing.
Our EODD pumps are provided with an easy to operate Graco Motor Control or VFD control panel, depending on your motor choice.
A fully automated sequence is possible with AC motor: thanks to PLC integration hands-free unloading becomes reality.
Mobile cart options available for easy and quick movement.
How does an electric double diaphragm pump work?
The difference from an air-operated diaphragm pump is the center section of this pump as it uses an electric drive instead of compressed air. The center section of this pump is filled with pressurized air and is mechanically moved left/right by the motor so it pushes and pulls the diaphragm from left to right. This back-and-forth motion, forces liquid out of one chamber and into the outlet manifold, while filling the opposite fluid chamber via the inlet manifold. Upon changeover, the fluid section that was filled on the previous shift empties into the outlet manifold and the fills the opposite chamber via the inlet manifold. The smooth changeover allows for reduced pulsation at the outlet.
How does the electric diaphragm pump stall under pressure?
Important to know is that the Electric diaphragm pumps don't have a fixed connection to the center section. When the pressure at the outside of the center section is larger than the pressure inside the center section, the diaphragms will stand still without pressure building up. The center section will still turn left/right but the diaphragms won't move until the outside pressure is lower than the pressure inside the center section.
