E-Flo iQ is a complete tank-to-tip solution for intelligent metering. With an electric servo-driven motor, you can meter directly from the drum and maintain optimal flow control — without the hassle and expense of an external metering device.
Consistent control of flow rate
The E-Flo iQ meters directly from the drum, without the need for external dosing systems. The electric servo-driven motor on the E-Flo iQ knows the position of the piston pump and controls its velocity, assuring a consistent control of the flow rate at all times. And with pressure sensors placed at key locations, the pressure is constantly monitored and is kept constant from tank to tip.
Accurate Dispensing Performance
For applying accurate dispenses at the start and stop and during the complete length of the bead, the E-Flo iQ has a wide range of dispense valves that are suitable for non-heated and heated applications up to 158°F (70°C).
For low flow applications, iQ Valves are available in tip seal, ball/seat, or snuff back versions. While the Axial Valve is ideal for high flows applications, such as window urethane dispense.
Easy to use and simple to integrate
Setting up and programming a metering system has never been easier. With the Advanced Display Module (ADM), Graco's HMI, you can easily set up the bead profile and save up to 16 different dispense styles.
Simple diagnostic screens make it easy to follow-up on all process variables and to find predictive maintenance parameters. The Communication Gateway Module (CGM) allows complete integration with your PLC via Discrete I/O, EtherNet/IP, PROFIBUS, PROFINET, or DeviceNet.
Low cost of ownership
Metering directly from the drum reduces the number of system components. By using fewer components that are long-lasting and high-quality, maintenance needs are extremely low.
With only a hose and valves mounted on the robot, you do not need to invest in an expensive robot with heavy payloads. This makes the E-Flo iQ the most cost-effective solution for pumping, metering, and dispensing single component adhesives. Additionally, thanks to the electric servo-driven motor, it operates significantly quieter than traditional pneumatic pumps.
